How much fun is the All in the Family Set?? I had a blast putting this together. I had the frame in my cupboard. It was a present from a friend & i’d never gotten around to doing anything with it. I knew it was perfect for this stamp set! Left to right we are: Tigger, Katelin, Me, Alexandra, Mark & Thomas!! How cute is this as a family portrait? The word family is printed onto whisper white cardstock from my computer. The Dunn is using the Big Deal Alphabet. We were coloured using markers & Watercolour Crayons & an Aqua brush. I’ve used cool carribean & so saffron cardstock to mat the “portrait”. I’ve used the petals & paisley DS paper to cover the internal mat board. I sponged so saffron on the outer mat frame to soften the white. The flowers & brad in the centre of the flowers are non-SU!. I did use my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the people. It didn’t take much time, however, I will definately be getting some cardstock vellum to use as a permanent template with this set. It will be a time-saver in the long run! Don’t forget, if you wish to purchase this set from me, I will be forgoing my commission & selling it for $59.15 + shipping charges!!
Well, i really should be off preparing for dinner with the outlaws (lol) to celebrate my DH FINALLY achieving his Phd! Phew! He’s done very well & we are all very proud of him! But i’ve cheesecake to make & things to do before our family lands on the doorstep this evening. It’s just a small intimate gathering, for 30!! LOL!! The benefits of having a large family!
Thanks for looking & until next time, happy stamping!

ALL worldwide proceeds from the sales of these sets will go to a fund that Stampin up has established to help Dave Abbotts’ family. Dave was the General Manager of SU Australia. What a week! What a fortnight!! October has been one CRAZY month for me. Not just with trying to juggle the everyday life of three children, a husband. There is Stampin’ Up! commitments, life in general it’s all been a bit hectic. We currently have sick kids here at the moment. Poor Tom (3&1/2) has had the vomits & looks like Katelin may have picked up the other end of the disease. Urgh. Being a mother some weeks is like two steps up a hill and fourteen backwards!
BUT I digress, you did not stop in here to hear my woes!! As i’ve only had two souls who are NOT SU! Demonstrators comment on my previous post (here) I have decided to send them both a little treaty in the post. Ladies, could you please send your snail mail addresses to me at madonnadunn@aapt.net.au and something will be sent out in the mail to you next week.
Thanks for looking!!

Phew! It’s up! It’s taken me in-numerous attempts to get this pic to load. It just doesn’t seem to want to play nice tonight! I had a lot of fun making this card. I am disappointed in the *ahem* quality of the scanning. The colours are much much brighter in real life. I’m going to blame the equipment but I’m sure you all realise the operator is….err…well…shall we say challenged?? This is a card I made for a workshop I’m running in a couple of weeks (Hi Megan!). I had a request for this set & these colours. I felt that the images did lend themselves to being “on film” so to speak. This is a very cool technique using the Spiral punch from the Spring Mini Catalogue. You can purchase it from me ONLY up until the end of November. It’s a very handy little gadget to own! (It’s a tool – I HAD to have it! LOL).
Stamps: Bugs & Kisses
Cardstock: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Real Red, Basic Black
Inks: Versamark, Real Red, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise.
Other: Spiral Punch, 1 1/4″ Punch, 1 3/8″ Punch, Red Gingham Ribbon.
THANKS too to the ladies who have left comments. I will be getting a facility for you to register my updated blog in the very near future so please bear with me for now! Until next time – Happy Stamping! M

I have a new nephew!! Yay!! His name is James Thomas & he was born on the 11th of October. This is the card I made to welcome him to our family. I got to give him lots of sniffs & cuddles on the weekend. He is just gorgeous! My SIL is officially a legend giving birth completely naturally – he weighed 9 pound 10 Ounces (or should that be ouches!).
Stamps – Bundle of Joy
Paper – Buckeroo Blue, Mellow Moss, Pool Party Designer Serious Paper, Whisper White
Other: Soft Subtle Brad, Aqua Painter & Ink from Lids, Non SU! Rub-on!
Again, I apologise for my dodgy scanning efforts. I am soooo over scanning! Bring on my camera all better again! Until next time – Happy stamping!

Ok I should be well & truly in bed by now but i’m totally addicted to this watercolour business. How do you stop???!!! This is another one of Cath’s stamps that I stamped out today. It’s called City of David. Isn’t it divine? (not necessarily my actual card, just the image!
)
Stamps: City of David
Cardstock: Old Olive, More Mustard, Really Rust, Watercolour paper (divine to work on)
Inks: Black Stazon, Earth Element Markers,
Other: Aquapainter, sponge, Hodgepodge Hardware, 3/4″ circle punch for corners.
I cannot wait until my camera is fixed. This scanning business is giving me grief!! As my five year old would say “that’s not much chop, not much chop at all!!”. It really is straight in real life. I promise!!

Today the lovely ladies in my team came for a day of stamping & fun. This set is Cath’s & she kindly let me stamp some images with it. This is the card I created tonight from one of the images. It’s fairly simple but I didn’t want to add too many layers & take away from the actual picture. I had oodles of fun colouring with the markers & then using my aqua pen to ‘take away’ colour. There is an excellent tutorial on this here. I need a lot of practice but it was heaps of fun to try, I certainly recommend it! I just need to get some more markers. Yes Cath, I NEED them. LOL
Stamps: Seaside Sketches
Cardstock: Whisper White, So Saffron, Watercolour paper (divine to work on)
Inks: Black Stazon, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink & Barely Banana Markers
Other: Aquapainter, sponge.
I used the Tempting Turquoise on a sponge with a piece of torn cardstock to acheive the layers. I do believe it’s a faux tearing technique (but I could be wrong!). Anyway, I hope you like my first attempt at watercolouring with my markers. Comments gratefully received

Cardstock: Whisper White, Rose Red, Pixie Pink & Elegant Eggplant
Inks: Black Stazon, Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red, Craft White
